Responsibilities

  1. Design, express, and purify recombinant proteins using multiple expression systems, including E. coli, yeast, insect, and mammalian cells.
  2. Perform biochemical and biophysical characterization of proteins using techniques such as ITC, DSF, SPR, and related methods.
  3. Support mechanism-of-action (MoA) studies through protein production and functional/biophysical assays.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable assay development, screening, and project progression.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely experimental records; prepare technical reports and present results to the line manager.
  6. Execute additional tasks in alignment with project plans and team objectives.

Requirements

  1. B.S. or higher degree in protein biochemistry, structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field.
  2. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in recombinant protein expression and purification.
  3. Strong experience with one or more expression systems, including E. coli, yeast, insect, and mammalian cells.
  4. Familiarity with protein purification workflows and chromatography systems (e.g., FPLC).
  5. Experience with protein characterization techniques (e.g., ITC, SPR, DSF) is preferred.
  6. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  7. Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and team-oriented mindset.
