Job Summary

Oversees global tax strategy for multinational enterprises, ensuring compliance, optimizing tax burden, and coordinating cross-border tax matters. Requires expertise in international taxation, regulatory interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong familiarity with government agencies (e.g., tax bureaus, commerce commissions, SAFE) in China, including export tax rebate filings (e.g., Beijing, Shanghai) and contract filings.

Key Responsibilities‌

‌Tax Compliance & Reporting‌

  • Supervise global tax filings, ensuring adherence to local laws; manage Chinese export tax rebate filings and contract filings.
  • Lead transfer pricing policies, including transaction models, benchmarking, and APA negotiations, aligning with OECD and Chinese regulations.

‌Tax Planning & Optimization‌

  • Analyze tax policy changes to design legitimate tax-saving strategies.
  • Assess tax implications of new business activities for decision-making.

‌Risk Management & Audit Response‌

  • Identify tax risks (e.g., transfer pricing audits, rebate reviews) and establish controls to handle tax inspections.
  • Coordinate external audits and consultants for smooth processes.

‌Team Collaboration & Training‌

  • Provide tax support to finance, legal, and business teams.
  • Conduct tax training to enhance awareness.

Qualifications‌

  • Education‌: Bachelor’s+ in tax/accounting; CPA/CTA preferred.
  • Experience‌: at least 3 years in Big 4 and 3 years in a multinational corporation (MNC). expertise in OECD/BEPS rules and transfer pricing.
  • Skills‌: Strong knowledge of Chinese/international tax laws; especially transfer price rules; bilingual (English/Chinese).‌
  • Soft Skills‌: Effective Chinese government communication; cross-cultural adaptability.
